Contacts

The Contacts section stores all your customer data. Every person who messages your WhatsApp number is automatically added as a contact. You can also manually add or bulk import contacts.

Each contact profile includes:

  • Name and phone number
  • Email and other contact details
  • Tags — Labels for organizing and segmenting contacts
  • Attributes — Custom fields like company, location, or lead source
  • Conversation history — All past chats with this contact
  • Notes — Internal notes added by your team
  • Events — Activity timeline for the contact

From any contact profile, you can:

  • Start a conversation — Open a new chat
  • Add/remove tags — Organize contacts with tags
  • Edit attributes — Update contact information
  • Assign to agent — Assign the contact to a team member
  • Block contact — Block the contact from messaging

The main contacts view shows all your contacts in a filterable list:

  • Search — Find contacts by name, phone, or email
  • Filter by tags — Show only contacts with specific tags
  • Filter by attributes — Filter by custom field values
  • Sort — Sort by name, date added, or last activity

Click any contact to view their full profile, conversation history, and activity timeline.

Create segments to group contacts based on rules:

  • Contacts with specific tags
  • Contacts with certain attribute values
  • Contacts who messaged within a time period
  • Contacts from specific lead sources

Segments update dynamically — when a contact matches the rules, they are automatically included.
